Since his appointment to GLOBE Secretary General in November 2005, Mr Matthews created and launched the G8+5 Climate Change Dialogue and the G8 Illegal Logging Dialogue. Prior to working for GLOBE, Mr Matthews ran his own political consultancy business. He previously worked in the UK House of Commons for three years running the parliamentary office of a Member of Parliament. Mr Matthews is a Fellow of the Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the 2003 Trust Medal Winner.
