In June 2008 during the GLOBE  G8+5 Tokyo  Legislators Forum  the International Commission on Land-Use Change & Ecosystems was launched with the support of the British Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon David Miliband MP, and the Chief Scientist to the Japanese Cabinet, Dr Kishor Kurokawa.  The Commission is kindly supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).   For further information about the Commission please explore the links on the left side of your screen.
