GLOBE Renews Partnership with the National People’s Congress of China
Following the formation of the new National People’s Congress (NPC) of China in March under the leadership transition, a senior delegation from GLOBE visited the Chinese Congress.

Minister Xie Zhenhua, Vice Chairman of China’s National Development & Reform Commission (China’s Planning Ministry) launched the Chinese edition of the 3rd GLOBE Climate Legislation Study.
During a meeting between US Congress Democrat Leader, Rep Nancy Pelosi and a GLOBE Delegation from Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, South Africa and the UK, Nancy Pelosi saluted GLOBE's work.
The Presidents of GLOBE Canada, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa and the Chairman of the Board of GLOBE International jointly presented the results of the 3rd GLOBE Legislation Study to the United Nations in New York.
The Summit will bring together legislators from seven countries and see the launch of the GLOBE Natural Capital Legislation Study
The 1st GLOBE Natural Capital Summit will be held at the German Parliament, the Bundestag, on 6-7 June, with the support of the Hon. Dirk Niebel, Germany's Minister for Development and Economic Cooperation.
